    • Identify the five senses.
    • List the different senses and their organs.

Keywords: senses, organs, sour, sweet, soft, smooth, rough, tall, high, short, round
    • Students know the colors.
    • Students know different shapes.
    • Students are familiar with tastes.
    • Students know their body parts.
  • Have students watch Video 1.
  • Ask students to get 6 items they find in the kitchen (one of which is something to eat/ drink). They need to find out which sense organs get into play. They record their findings in their copybook. Have them take a picture and send it via the platform you’re using. Send feedback to students and PowerPoint 1 that explains each sense and its relevant sense organ.
  • Students have a tour around their community. They take notes of things they see, taste, smell, hear, and touch. Back home, students add details to their ideas: colors, sizes, shapes, etc. for reinforcement and clarification. To check for understanding, have students use “see, taste, feel, smell, listen to” in complete sentences (Answer Key 1).
  • Send students Worksheet 1 and have them play with family members. Send Link 2 for a final assessment.
